Currently, Studentenwerk Stuttgart operates 30 hostels with more than 6300 places. They are mainly located near the universities. If you are looking for a hostel, our selection assistant will help you find the rigth one quickly.
Except for the hostel rooms of Bauhäusle and Anna-Herrigel-Haus all rooms are ready-furnished. The latter is reserved for our female students only. The furnished rooms are usually equipped with a desk, chair, bed including bedding box, shelves, wardrobe, and partly with a washbasin. The residents are responsible for cleaning. Kitchens are equipped with a stove, fridge, cupboards, a table and chairs.
In nearly all hostels, the kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, showers and other common rooms are used by all tenants.
Our residential houses are also equipped with washing machines, dryers, telephone extensions and cable TV. Of course, an ISDN telephone connection can be applied for. All rooms of the hostels are provided with Internet access at low prices. In addition to the lease price, no further costs are incurred at present. However, you are responsible for the bed linen in your hostel room. So please don’t forget to bring it with you.
